Loch Stornoway
A view from near the top of Loch Stornoway almost at high tide. The tractor marks indicate the route of a walk which takes one down to the area of sand at the head of the loch which is exposed at low tide. The island of Gigha can be seen in the distance. There is some improved grazing land for sheep, but there are also areas of mainly deciduous trees and dense bracken between the B8024 and the side of the loch further west from this point.
