ST4940 : Carnival sheds

taken 18 years ago, near to Glastonbury, Somerset, England

Carnival sheds
Carnival sheds
The sheds across the field are used by several of the 'Somerset' Carnival Societies to build their floats. If you've not been to one of these carnivals it is really something you must do before you die. Each year in Oct-Nov the floats parade in several of the north Somerset towns (eg Bridgwater, Wells, Glastonbury). Glastonbury Tor is in the distance in square ST5138.
