The Scottish Railway Preservation Society, in addition to operating the tourist railway at Bo'ness on the Forth, also run from time to time a series of excursions across Scotland and northern England. Here one of their trains has just arrived under the easternmost train shed of Inverness station, hauled appropriately by a "heritage" diesel locomotive, No 40145, ironically named after another tourist line, the East Lancashire Railway, which runs from Bury to Rawtenstall.
