J1711 : Path up Slieve Foye

taken 12 years ago, near to Cairlinn and Knocknamona, Louth, Ireland

Path up Slieve Foye
Path up Slieve Foye
A very well-made path (possibly an old coach road), part of the Tain Trail, climbs up from Carlingford village across bracken-covered slopes towards Slieve Foye (Carlingford Mountain) J1612. Just round the corner, the path doubles back up to the saddle separating Slieve Foye from Barnavave.
