Located on the Platform at Cranmore Railway Station, is this Telephone Box, but it also used to feature as a Stamp dispensing machine and Letter collecting box.
The Telephone is no longer active nor is the Stamp machine, however the collection box is still emptied every weekday afternoon by the Post Office. No money is in the Box now and the phone box is locked. Located not far away is another Red Phone box which is still in use, see the map.text/html2014-10-16T09:32:18+00:00https://www.geograph.ie/profile/18139Clive Warneford51.001318 -2.418649ST7022 : Mind the Gap

A new platform at Templecombe Station. This was rebuilt so that passengers, with or without the ability could get onto or off a train without having to cross the line. This platform is known as bi-directional there being only a single line through the station. The photographer is standing on the platform and is about to board an up train.text/html2014-06-12T14:56:37+00:00https://www.geograph.ie/profile/18139Clive Warneford51.412883 -0.361730TQ1469 : View across the River Thames

This is the Ford near to Purns Mill, the river is known as Shreen Water. After a considerable amount of rain, I was surprised not to see it both deeper and faster flowing.text/html2012-10-16T00:09:45+00:00https://www.geograph.ie/profile/18139Clive Warneford51.492214 -0.318554TQ1678 : Boston Manor House from the front lawn.

A rather nice advertising panel at the entrance to the station, the tea-rooms are tastefully decorated, very clean & tidy. There is a choice of inside seating or outside on nice days.
