This church, tucked away in a quiet corner of Cornwall but close to the coast path, dates from the 15th century. It was unfortunately subject to an arson attack a few years ago, and was still under internal restoration when this photo was taken.text/html2008-08-14T21:38:44+00:00https://www.geograph.ie/profile/25993Alan Howes54.284508 -1.806275SE1287 : Prime horseflesh, Middleham

Early each morning (later Sundays!), dozens of horses and jockeys canter through Middleham from the many racing stables, heading for the gallops on the Low Moor. Stay at the Castle Restaurant [[922073]] and you will be woken by the sound of hooves!text/html2008-08-14T21:32:51+00:00https://www.geograph.ie/profile/25993Alan Howes54.284508 -1.806275SE1287 : Castle Restaurant, Middleham

The Castle Restaurant is in the foreground (green windows) - and is highly recommended either for dinner or to stay in. Further down the square is the Black Swan, and at the bottom the Black Bull. Middleham is good for eating and drinking!text/html2008-08-12T21:49:24+00:00https://www.geograph.ie/profile/25993Alan Howes54.526035 -1.836190NZ1014 : River Tees and Wycliffe
