Often describes as a waterfall it is in fact a man made weir. There are several weirs on River Clywedog which allows the flow to be more controlled. It is situated only a few yards from Offa's Dyke.text/html2012-01-04T19:49:58+00:00https://www.geograph.ie/profile/41811Linnet52.914108 -3.017514SJ3135 : Heron on the prowl

This photo was taken above the towpath, next to the railway line and on a path popular with dogwalkers.
Kronospan is a major supplier of chipboard. Your kitchen cupboards were most likely made there.text/html2011-03-18T17:00:12+00:00https://www.geograph.ie/profile/41811Linnet52.933247 -3.067730SJ2837 : Coming out of 'Darkie' North End

Early this year the owner of the Post Office decided to retire. St Martins lost its Post Office. The letter Box and the door was painted black, which was very poignant.text/html2011-03-10T18:57:55+00:00https://www.geograph.ie/profile/41811Linnet52.918345 -3.024529SJ3136 : Bank Top Industrial Estate from the SU Canal

In Victorian times this half-acre pool of water and its adjacent railway line exemplified the term "integrated transport system". Goods were loaded on and off boats waiting in the small basin and from there it was a 200- yard journey down an arm of the Montgomery Canal into the canal itself.
You can just see the swing bridge at the end where it leads into the Montgomery Canal (info by courtesy of the Independent)text/html2010-10-07T20:58:21+00:00https://www.geograph.ie/profile/41811Linnet52.911004 -3.031345SJ3035 : Penhendle Lane & garden wall surrounding Hendle hall
