Taken from the north side of the south quarry, looking across the middle towards Bearse Common woods. Taken shortly after my other [[2130996]] photo. The quarry has been extensively worked since the most recent 1:50000 OS mapping was done, though the latest 1:25000 map has detail closer to reality.text/html2010-10-27T09:54:43+00:00https://www.geograph.ie/profile/42126Oliver Hunter51.752534 -2.629533SO5606 : Stowe Quarry

The protected oak tree in Midsummer Place, Milton Keynes Shopping Centre (at the beginning of the run-up to Christmas), surrounded by the spare set of Concrete Cows (on loan to the Centre) and animated, illuminated grazing deer. The tree has been lopped since [[635928]] was taken and the new Barclays premises has opened in the former Mango site. Other Christmas decorations (stars and a giant 'exploding' cracker) can be seen hanging in the background.text/html2009-11-27T14:41:21+00:00https://www.geograph.ie/profile/42126Oliver Hunter52.133868 -1.008089SP6748 : View from Mill Lane Bridge (East)

The old A43 Northampton Road, now only running to a dead-end at the hamlet of [[344531]]. Before the introduction of the 'new' A43 dual carriageway the road continued straight on to Northampton. The old road is still present for a short stretch behind the newer trees but forms the majority of a lay-by for the new road.text/html2009-11-25T17:22:25+00:00https://www.geograph.ie/profile/42126Oliver Hunter52.147629 -0.977092SP7050 : Third Lodge, Easton Neston, Towcester

Looking down the footpath from the Old Tiffield Road (near Tesco & Homebase) to the South-West end of The Shires housing estate on the land of the Former Hesketh estate, Towcester. The council depot, where dustbin & recycling lorries are housed, is behind the green railings on the left, whilst the container on the right is on the edge of Stable Fabrication Ltd's property.
