Beautiful late summer day on the beach at Sandyhills, beach was quite busy for late August but the weather brought the families out. To the left in the background is what I believe to be a target for the R.A.F. used during the Second World War, although I might be wrong. Still it was a perfect day enjoyed by many.text/html2014-12-23T15:21:10+00:00https://www.geograph.ie/profile/64952Guy Mathison54.786648 -4.358944NX4846 : Sunrise in Garlieston

Beautiful November sunrise in the lovely village of Garlieston. The weather that day was, predictably, fine and sunny but the next day it blew hard and poured with rain.text/html2013-04-09T21:55:44+00:00https://www.geograph.ie/profile/64952Guy Mathison54.872504 -3.392343NY1053 : Silloth Seafront.

Maryport Harbour in the sea mist. Within half a mile inland there was glorious sunshine. The whole of the Solway Firth appeared to be cloaked in mist at that time in the morning.text/html2011-07-04T10:40:28+00:00https://www.geograph.ie/profile/64952Guy Mathison50.812554 -1.100773SU6301 : HMS Bristol
