Kendal Unitarian Chapel was built in 1720 and is the oldest Non-Conformist Chapel in Kendal.

This simple rectangular chapel was originally founded as a Dissenting Chapel. It subsequently became Presbyterian and is now URC.

The image is taken from the east bank of the River Sprint looking across "Garnett Bridge" to the old bobbin mill and cottages.
At this point the river runs in small gorge which is Category 4 for Canoeing when the river is in spate.
