The Regent Hall :: Shared Description

The Regent Hall is the Salvation Army's church on Oxford Street, London. In fact they advertise it as the only place of worship on what is otherwise a temple to consumerism. The hall itself, which was originally an ice rink and converted to a church under Salvation Army founder William Booth in 1882, is invisible from either Oxford Street or Princes Street, as there are later facades along both street frontages.
