91 Buchanan Street :: Shared Description

This Category A Listed building LinkExternal link was originally Miss Cranston's Tearoom, with interiors (now gone) by Charles Rennie Mackintosh and George Walton.

Designed in 1896 by Sir George Washington Browne, the building has as Flemish gabled front with several detailed carvings, including the Glasgow coat of arms. The ground floor is dominated by a large arched window.

Previously occupied by the Clydesdale Bank, there is now a Timberland store on the ground floor.
