Footpath from Stony Croft Lane to Heath Lea :: Shared Description

This is a straight path from Stony Croft Lane at Sandy Foot Clough to Heath Lea Farm. It crosses Saddleworth Road and probably existed before that road was constructed c.1825. It is shown on the 1850 six-inch map. The path is almost entirely on pasture.
