The Dublin Famine Memorial :: Shared Description

The Dublin Famine Memorial is a memorial to the Great Famine in Ireland, and is located next to the River Liffey on the Dublin quays, opposite The Custom House.
The statues, which consist of several malnourished human figures, some of which are clenching young babies, was created by Rowan Gillespie, and were unveiled in 1997.
