Afon Mawddach (River Mawddach) :: Shared Description

Afon Mawddach (River Mawddach in English) is a river in Snowdonia, in north Wales. Its source is a peat bog in mountains south west of Bala. From there, it flows for 28 miles (45 kilometres) to the sea at Barmouth. The Mawddach has a considerable number of tributaries.
