The Test Way - Lower Brook to West Down :: Shared Description
An eight mile section of the Test Way, between Lower Brook and West Down, mainly follows the track bed of the abandoned Romsey to Andover railway line Link
. Apart from the short, welcome interlude at Stockbridge, the path is almost always bordered by dense vegetation on both sides, with no view of the river, or much of anything, and few opportunities to venture off it. It is monotonous.
