The Old Bridge Inn, Ripponden :: Shared Description

Although not included in CAMRA's 2014 book (see the other shared description) this pub has subsequently been added to the national inventory of historic pub interiors, mainly for the lower bar with cruck frame trusses and 16th century wall panelling, and its wattle-and-daub walls. The pub evolved from a house dated to 1307 but is mainly of 16th-18th century date, its use as a pub first being recorded in 1754. It is also grade II listed (list entry 1232389).
