A 71 acre common mainly comprising mixed woodland. The common is a registered common with commoners rights. Both The Wealdway and Tunbridge Wells Circular Walk (TWCW) cross the common. The underlying rock is Tunbridge Wells sandstone. Cricket is played on the common.
