Derby Industrial Museum :: Shared Description

The old silk mill is now the Derby Industrial museum, housing many exhibits relating to the city and county.
For a history see LinkExternal link

The museum is closing for at least two years at the end of March 2011 due to council funding cuts with the loss of 8.6 jobs. The money will go to improving this and other museums, well that's what the council say. On the Saturday the museum was rather busy, especially with children and families.
