Pitt Rivers Museum, Oxford :: Shared Description

The Pitt Rivers Museum LinkExternal link is behind and accessed through the Oxford University Museum of Natural History LinkExternal link. General Pitt Rivers made a vast collection of ethnographic specimens and gave them to the University of Oxford in 1884 to form the museum which bears his name. The exhibits are arranged thematically, and have been kept as items packed together in glass display cases.
