Bourne Mill - National Trust :: Shared Description

Bourne mill is a National Trust property in Colchester, Essex. A small mill it is incomplete but of interest due to its quirky design and part working machinery. Inside are three floors showing the pit wheel, stone floor (minus stones) and grain store. The building started life as a fishing lodge before conversion to a fulling mill then flour mill.
