Chinese figures, Belfast City Hall (2013) :: Shared Description


A display of Chinese figures, based on the terracotta Warriors of Xi'an LinkExternal link in the grounds of Belfast City Hall. They were designed and painted by local artists but some were left unpainted to allow visitors to exercise their own creative talents. The display coincides with the 2013 Belfast Mela - “Northern Ireland's largest festival of ethnic arts, culture and heritage returns with a vibrant line up of music, dance and arts from across the globe. Up to 20,000 people are expected at this fun-filled family event as it now enters its seventh year”.
